End the footpath free-for-all!

So many of Hull's footpaths have been dug up by broadband companies. Liberal Democrats are calling on the Government to give Council and people more of a say over installation works.

END THE FOOTPATH FREE-FOR-ALL!

We, the undersigned, call on the Government to give local councils power to manage broadband company installation works, and insist that residents should be properly consulted when footpaths are dug up or new poles installed. We are calling for the Government to give the Council powers to hold broadband companies to account.
